2 day online oil painting workshop - capturing human expression
May 18 - 19 Saturday and Sunday - 11:30am—3pm (PST)
In this online course, each three and a half hour session will include demonstrations, talks and Q & A. The demos will demonstrate my entire process for creating a painting in oil. Discussions will cover different tools, materials and approaches I’ve developed.
Subject matter will include the initial block in, color, texture, paint application, the use of rubber tools, mood, focal points and finishing touches.

CANVAS OR PANEL SUPPORT
Large primed wooden panel, or smooth oil primed linen canvases. All panels/canvases should be sized, gessoed, and lightly toned raw umber with Alkyd Oil.

These are the colors on the instructors palette. It is not necessary to purchase all these colors. Students may use the palette they are already use at home, pick from this list to add to their current palette or purchase all the colors on this list.
